Suncorp NetSetGO is Netball Australia’s only junior entry netball program. It has been developed to provide children aged 5 to 10 years with the best possible learning and playing experience to engage a positive introduction to netball, ensuring enjoyment and continued participation. Suncorp NetSetGO incorporates skill activities, minor games, music, dance and modified matches in a fun and safe environment. The weekly program is coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants.
History & Participation
Suncorp NetSetGO was launched nationally by Netball Australia in 2007. Following initial success of the FunNet and Netta programs, additional support and guidance needed to be provided to Member Organisations, Associations and Clubs to assist in the delivery of junior netball. Suncorp NetSetGO was structured to assist the recruitment and education of administrators and coaches by providing quality resources and training as well as professional support. This approach developed a quality control framework for Suncorp NetSetGO and the maximisation of conversion from modified skill development activities, into ongoing membership and participation.
