Territory Storm 2017

The Territory Storm will once again participate in the Australian Netball League (ANL).The ANL gives netball fans around the country the chance to see some of our best young talent in action in a seven week competition over the Feb-April, 2017 period.
For the players, it is a fantastic opportunity to test their skills in a competition that bridges the gap between State League competitions and the National Netball League.

The competition provides a vital pathway for Northern Territory players, coaches, umpires and officials.

The Territory Storm has competed in all seasons since its inaugural event in 2008, except 2016. The competition currently involves  8 state/territory teams.

Netball NT seeks players to nominate on an annual basis to participate in the competition.

2017 ANL DRAW

Territory Storm returns to ANL

The Board of Netball NT made a decision on Monday night (12 Sept) that Territory Storm would return to the Australian Netball League competition in 2017.

This is great news for netballers across the NT who this year sat out the ANL competition after a decision was made to withdraw for financial reasons.  An extended format of the competition in 2016 meant an increase in travel costs which could not be met.

The ANL will be aligned with the new National Netball League and be played across all States and Territories.
