Sporting Schools Program (Transition – Year 7)
Sporting Schools is a nationally funded program developed by the Australian Sports Commission and 32 National Sporting Organisations. It is a 4 week program, coordinated by accredited coaches to ensure a quality experience for all participants. The program has been purposely designed to suit the age and competency of students via the three different tiers.
‘Net’ Tier (Transition-Year 2) students will learn netball related fundamental motor skills with fun games and activities.
‘Set’ Tier (Years 3-4) students will take part in modified games and activities with a focus on fun and teamwork.
‘GO’ Tier (Years 5-6) is ideal for teachers that have inter-school teams that need assistance in coaching skills, teamwork and game tactics.
