NETBALL NT UMPIRE SPIRIT AWARD 2021 NOMINATION FORM

Umpires are a pivotal part of our sport and Netball NT recognises the need to celebrate those who go above and beyond in their contribution to Umpiring. Netball NT wish to officially recognise the extraordinary contributions made by Umpires, Umpire Coaches and Umpire Mentors through the ‘Umpire Spirit’ award.

Umpire Spirit Award Criterion:
1. Nominees must be a financial member of Netball NT.
2. Must have given 3 or more years of continued service to a Member Association or Netball NT.
3. Contributes to the development of umpiring in the NT.
4. Is a role model for umpires in a way deemed relevant by the netball community. This may include:
a. Outstanding skill
b. Progression through the umpire pathway
c. Dedication to mentoring, badging or assisting umpires
5. Presents a positive image for the Member Associations
6. Shows commitment to working as a team and supporting the development of other umpires.

Please nominate one badged Umpire from your Association to be considered.

Include a brief profile and supporting information.

ALL nominees will be officially recognised and awarded at the NT Link Championship closing ceremony, 2 May 2021.

The successful recipient will be decided by the NNT Officials Advisory Panel (OAP)
