Your voice. Your ideas. Your netball.

The Netball NT Youth Advisory Group (YAG) gives young people from across the Northern Territory a voice in the future of netball.

YAG brings together young people with different experiences of the game to share ideas, provide feedback, and contribute to initiatives that support young people across our netball community.

You don’t need to follow one particular netball pathway to be involved. YAG is for young people from across the Territory – from those who play netball at school or with their local club or association, to umpires, coaches, volunteers, and representative athletes.

YAG in Action
YAG members don’t just talk about ideas – they have opportunities to bring them to life.

The YAG Player Passport, developed for the Netball NT Community Netball Carnival, is one example. YAG members helped create a series of activities and challenges designed to encourage players to meet new people, get involved, and make the most of their Carnival experience both on and off the court.

Projects like this give YAG members the opportunity to take an idea from discussion to something that can be experienced by the wider netball community.

Meet the 2025/26 Youth Advisory Group

Our 2025/26 Youth Advisory Group brings together young people from different locations, clubs, associations, and areas of the game, each bringing their own experiences, ideas, and perspectives. Hear from some of our members about what YAG has meant to them, and meet the young people who make up our 2025/26 group.

"Being part of the Netball NT Youth Advisory Group has given me a space to learn, contribute, and make an impact on the future of netball. I’ve gained confidence in my communication, learned how to collaborate with purpose, and seen the power of youth voice in real decision-making spaces. I’ve loved working alongside other passionate young people and seeing our ideas genuinely valued.” - Kholo Moyo | Alice Springs Netball Association
