Netball Australia is pleased to announce Australia's largest not-for-profit health fund HCF has recommitted as Official Health Insurance Partner for another year.
Heading into the fourth year of the Major Partnership, HCF will continue to support netball at all levels in Australia from community netball programs as well as NetSetGO and the Suncorp Super Netball League – the world’s premier netball competition.
The partnership between HCF and Netball Australia launched in 2019, with a common goal to empower Australians of all ages to lead active and healthy lives.
HCF's shared values as a leasing and trusted health partner align with Netball Australia's commitment to motivate and inspire every netball participant to become the best they can.
Today, the partnership supports over one million players across the country - from Net Set Go to the elite.
As two established not-for-profit organisations, Netball Australia and HCF share a mutual ethos of putting people’s health first. The United by Uncommon Care brand platform embodies this shared commitment to go above and beyond for the members and communities we support.
Returning in 2022, HCF's Team Behind the Team campaign also celebrates stories from netball courts across Australia and the local communities who go above and beyond to make the sport happen week in, week out.
Netball Australia CEO Kelly Ryan was delighted to announce the partnership extension.
“We have built a strong foundation with HCF over the past three years, and we are pleased to continue this partnership into the future,” Ryan said.
“We have closely aligned values that will contribute to the direction our sport is heading in, and a shared vision to empower Australians of all ages to lead active and healthy lives – this includes HCF offering a League-wide insurance policy for all Suncorp Super Netball athletes.”
HCF CEO Sheena Jack said she was excited for HCF to continue their partnership with a not-for-profit organisation that shares so many of its own goals for the future.
“A big drawcard of this partnership is our shared values, such as looking out for one another, fair play and the fact we’re both trusted by Australians,” Jack said.
“Not only does netball have incredible short-term health benefits, but there are long term advantages to playing this popular sport.
“HCF and Netball Australia remain united by uncommon care and will continue to empower all Australians to lead healthy, active lives.”
