Penny joins the role following 5 years as Pathway Manager with Netball NT.
Penny has extensive experience in Netball in the Territory, being born and raised in Alice Springs and spending the past 18 years in Darwin.
Following 12 years in the Real Estate industry, Penny joins the organisation with Degree's in Recreation, Planning and Management and Exercise and Sports Science.
Netball NT Chair Catherine Sansom welcomed Penny to the organisation.

With strong leadership and management skills Shearer said it is an honour to have the opportunity to give back to the sport that has given her so much.
"I’m excited to join Netball NT as EO, the sporting landscape is changing so quickly, particularly for women and girls. It is a really important time for us to be proactive and innovative without losing sight of why we are here” Shearer said.
Shearer takes on the role after acting as interim EO following the departure of Ian Harkness in July.
Sansom thanked Ian for his tireless work across his tenure with Netball NT.
“Ian has been a dedicated EO for Netball NT taking on the management of CDU Stadium following its opening in 2019 and leading the sport through the COVID pandemic. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Ian for his contributions to netball over the last 3 and a half years,” Sansom said.
