Nominations are now open for NT athletes wishing to trial for selection in the Netball NT 17 and Under and 19 and Under teams that will compete at the 2026 National Netball Championships, to be held in April 2026 (location to be confirmed).
The National Netball Championships have been a key part of Australia’s netball pathway for decades, bringing together the best young players from across the country to test their skills, build confidence, and experience high-level competition. Many of today’s top Origin Australian Diamonds and Suncorp Super Netball stars once stood exactly where you are now — deciding to give it a go.
We know trialling can feel daunting, but it’s also one of the most valuable steps in your development as an athlete. You don’t need to wait until you feel “ready” — just come along, bring a friend, and see what it’s all about. The experience alone is worth it, and if you’d like feedback afterwards, it’s available to help you prepare for future opportunities.
Whether this is your first time trialling or you’ve been part of the pathway before, our selectors and coaches are there to support you, guide you, and help you take the next step in your netball journey.
