Netball Northern Territory (NNT) has welcomed an extended three year partnership with leading Northern Territory construction company, Sitzler.
The continued partnership, which began in 2011, will see the Netball Centre in Marrara remain named the Sitzler Netball Centre.
“Having originally constructed the netball facility, Sitzler are proud to continue its support of Netball NT. As one of the top sports in the Territory for women this renewed partnership will ensure that the NT Netball community can continue to develop and grow” said Director, Michael Sitzler.
The partnership will provide invaluable support to meet NNT’s ever increasing outgoings.
“Sporting bodies in the NT are not immune to the current economic climate and the support of companies like Sitzler are essential to ongoing operations.” Said Ian Harkness, NNT’s Executive Officer.
The extension of the partnership will take Sitzler past a decade of involvement with the Netball governing body.
“It is outstanding and a testament to netball’s standing in the community.” Said Harkness.
