Netball NT recently was present at the Defence Expo at the Darwin Convention Centre. This event was designated for Australian Defence Force members and their families residing in Darwin. Children and young people enjoyed goal shooting aspect with many being receptive to instruction regarding netball actions. Our purpose of attending this expo was to introduce and encourage participation in Netball at all skill levels. The reaction from community was encouraging and open, with much new interests in local competitions ranging from children to seniors.
